The message screams from T.V.s, radios, billboards and busses. The constant bombardment suggests that people injured by others need to call a Person Injury Attorney as soon after they are injured as possible.

It isn't true.

What is true: Statutes of Limitations across the United States prohibit injured people from starting lawsuit after a specific amount of time has passed following the date of the party's injury. Those time periods are most commonly 2 years while a few states shorten it to just one year and some allow three years.

There NO reason to be calling an attorney immediately after being injured. Focus on getting safe, getting evaluated and getting the medical treatment you need.

So what's up with all "hurry up and choose" advertisements? They benefit the Personal Injury Attorneys who pay for them.

The first attorney you contact is no more likely to be a good fit for you than any other another. Far more importantly, the speed of an attorney's response (or the AI chatbot responding on his or her behalf) has little to nothing to do with the attorney's analytical, preparation or trial skills. It just means the attorney has built a marketing machine that got your attention.
